Volunteering is for anyone who is interested in giving their time to support us in working directly with young people in our stunning rural setting. Horse lovers, animal lovers, countryside lovers and anyone who cares about the welfare of young people who are vulnerable and facing challenges in their lives for a wide variety of reasons.
We have two distinct parts to our organisation, and we welcome volunteers into our community interest company.
As part of the CIC we work with young people and families to support them with a variety of challenges they might be facing. We work therapeutically using our equine facilitated coaching methods also maximising the beautiful rural environment. Our young people access a range of opportunities activities including equine facilitated learning, horse riding, adventure walks, bug hunting, bush craft, outdoor arts and crafts, to name a few.
If you are interested in giving your time to support us in helping young people reconnect with themselves, so that they are able to then reconnect with life and with others, we’d love to hear from you.
We welcome anyone to our volunteer team who has a genuine interest in the welfare of young people who are facing challenges. We also require our volunteers to enjoy being outdoors and have a genuine love of animals. Horse experience is also very welcome. We invest a great deal of time in training our volunteers in our methods. This is also a wonderful opportunity to acquire new skills, build new perspectives, experience the joy of seeing young people grow and rebuild hope, build new relationships and friendships and be part of a group of caring and knowledgeable people who are as genuinely committed to each other as much as we are to the young people we work with.
